Kana Kana - Güneşin Sesi
Kana Kana, the one-man project by musician / producer Övünç Dan, is a musical personality founded in 2015 and it aims to shoulder its owner's dark side. Kana Kana does not swear by any of the existing genres or styles at the moment, though after much internal deliberation has decided, – in case anyone asks – might answer that it performs “Melancholic Goth Music with Turkish Lyrics”. All of the lyrics, music and production is by Kana Kana. It is undertaking the vocal and instrumental performances as well, however Kana Kana is determined to take the stage along with passionate band mates worthy of its name.
A summer break before Kana Kana's debut album, "Ölüler Hariç", to be released on Tamar Records in 2021: "Güneşin Sesi".
Kana Kana, a staunch Dr.Skull fan, made a surprise before her debut album, which might be quite dark, and decided to interpret "Güneşin Sesi" (the voice of the sun), one of the pearls of the band's 1994 legendary album "Hershey Yolunda!?".
The recording, which was shared silently on the Youtube - Kana Kana channel on April 7, was liked by Dr. Skull, especially by dear Alper Yarangümeli, and - with the permission of the group - it was officially turned into a Kana Kana song and released on all digital channels.
The photo used on the cover of the single, designed by Kana Kana, was taken by dear Müjde Uzman.
Kana Kana calls the song "a black and white door to the summers of old."
